Some people forgo attending certain viewing experiences, like movies, theatre performances, or other community events because of an expectation for attendees to remain quiet, and attentive, and doing so is difficult for them. Whether you need to move around to remain calm, or you are a mother with energetic and loud kiddos, or whatever the case may be, our Sensory Friendly Series is attentive to you!

Come see two talented magicians share their gifts to create lots of laughter and gasps of amazement. Erica Carlson and Magic Nate will take the stage together in a family-friendly show to entertain and inspire with thrilling tricks and a live hedgehog.

Get out your glue guns, your sewing needles, and your wildest imagination possible for the First Annual "In Your Easter Bonnet" Competition.

Hats will be judged in multiple categories and all hats will be eligible for the “Recycled Materials” category.  
The judging panel will consist staff members and/or volunteers from 3 well-known local organizations.

If you plan to participate in the competition, we ask you to write a brief description of your hat for our emcee to read aloud from the stage as you model your hat.

The Easter event will commence at 12pm on Sunday, April 13th at The Avalon Theatre. In addition to the competition this event will also include Easter Egg Dyeing, Adult Easter Basket Raffles, a Brunch Mimosa Bar, Entertainment, and more.

When kids sneak into inventor Wayne Szalinski's (Rick Moranis) upstairs lab to retrieve an errant baseball, his experimental shrink ray miniaturizes them. When Szalinski returns home, he destroys the device -- which he thinks is a failure -- and dumps it in the trash, throwing out the kids along with it. The four children, now 1/4-inch tall, must survive the journey back to the house through a yard where sprinklers bring treacherous storms and garden-variety ants stampede like elephants.
